Rita started her business in October of 1989, working full time for the Century House selling Scandinavian furniture.  She was enjoying her life, but was attracted to the Mary Kay opportunity initially because the products made such a difference in her skin.  She wanted to give other women the same feeling of confidence that came from feeling better about her own skin.  She quickly realized that she had joined a group of women that were of a higher caliber than she had ever been surrounded by.  She got married in 1990, and paid for most of the wedding with the profits from her Mary Kay business.  She earned her first car about 4 years into her business and promoted herself to Directorship in September 1994.  In the process, she was also on the National Court of Sales during those years.

Rita has loved the Mary Kay girlfriends and mentors that she has gained through this business, along with incredible memories from traveling with her Mary Kay girlfriends.  She has always believed in the amazing opportunity that Mary Kay Ash created in 1963.  She has always known it’s the career and lifestyle she wants for the rest of her life.
